Borrower conversations grounded in the lending brief
Raisecove supports commercial lenders and specialty finance firms in identifying businesses with a relevant financing need. The work connects an agreed borrower profile to research, direct outreach and a clear record for the lender’s own assessment.
Section 01
Make the lending brief usable in research
A product description alone is too broad for account selection. Start with the activities the lender wants to support, the relevant business size, geography, financing purpose and any explicit exclusions. Separate requirements that can be checked through research from questions that need a borrower conversation.
The resulting market map records why a business belongs in the search. A visible expansion, equipment purchase or working-capital cycle can suggest a question to explore; it does not establish a borrowing requirement. Research should preserve that distinction so outreach opens a conversation without assuming financial need.
Section 02
Qualify the conversation before the handoff
-
Purpose and timing
Ask what the business wants to fund, what is driving the requirement and when a decision matters. Record the borrower’s own description rather than assigning a product prematurely.
-
Business context
Capture the operating model, relevant scale and the person responsible for the discussion. Identify where information is stated, publicly sourced or still unknown.
-
Readiness to engage
Establish whether the business wants an introduction to the lender and what it expects from that conversation. A positive reply alone does not establish readiness for review.
Section 03
Build a handoff the lender can review
-
Step 01
Summarize the requirement
Bring together the business profile, stated financing purpose, indicative requirement if shared, and relevant timing. Keep the original context attached to any shorthand description.
-
Step 02
Make uncertainty visible
List unanswered qualification questions and any apparent mismatch with the brief. The receiving team should be able to distinguish an information gap from a confirmed exclusion.
-
Step 03
Record the review outcome
Assign a receiving owner and capture whether the introduction was accepted, deferred or declined. Use the reason to refine subsequent account selection and outreach.
Section 04
Keep commercial qualification in its proper scope
Raisecove’s role is origination and business-development support. We do not lend, broker financing, assess creditworthiness or propose financing terms. Credit assessment, documentation and lending decisions remain with the lender and its appointed advisers. A sourced conversation is an input to their process, with no implied approval or funding outcome.
